Says a theater owner, 'Nobody saw this one coming. We'd love to have it, but we have nothing available.'

Nathan Lucrezio is a singer/songwriter, up and coming recording artist, and currently performing in the Broadway Production of Rogers and Hammerstein's CINDERELLA as the Woodland Creature/Ensemble. The world premiere musical Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots just finished its West Coast run at La Jolla Playhouse, directed by Des McAnuff, on December 16. According to the North County Times, when the McAnuff spoke after the final curtain about the musical's future, he discussed the possibility of taking it to Broadway.

CAROLS FOR A CURE is the annual two-disc holiday CD compilation of original songs and holiday classics which benefits BC/EFA. These CDs boast the best voices from the worlds of Broadway, Off-Broadway and national tours. A full track list for this year's 14th edition has not yet been announced, but the cast of Broadway's MAMMA MIA! was already hard a work yesterday recording their track for the album.
