Following the successful reopening of the newly refurbished Festival Theatre, Chichester announces its first Winter season since 2011 offering a diverse mix of drama, comedy and dance as well as music and arts events.

RSC will tour FIRST ENCOUNTER: THE TAMING OF THE SHREW in Spring 2014 with Michael Fentiman directing associate artists Katy Stephens (as Petruchio) and Forbes Masson (as Katherine.) The tour begins 6 February 2014. Performances in Stratford, followed by UK tour playing in schools and theatres in Canterbury, Bradford, Blackpool, Leicester, London and Newcastle-under-Lyme, and a visit to Ohio State University.
