New Lonergan Play, with Broderick, to Bow at the Old Globe

Matthew Broderick, who was previously announced to star in the Broadway-bound Kenneth Lonergan play The Starry Messenger, will first take the play to the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego in January of 2007

The hit Broadway musical, JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, which has taken Broadway by storm, will launch a National Tour in San Francisco beginning in December, 2006. JERSEY BOYS, which opened to rave reviews on November 6, 2005, continues to set new weekly box office records at the August Wilson Theatre and has been among the top grossing shows on Broadway ever since.

DOUBT Breaks House Record For 8th Time

DOUBT has broken the house record at the Walter Kerr Theatre for the eighth time, grossing $603,566 for nine performances for the week of December 26-January 1. DOUBT had previously set a record of $550,109 for the week of July 11-17, 2005.
