The West End production of Beautiful will begin previews on February 10, 2015 in the West End at London's Aldwych Theatre, with an official opening night set for February 25, 2015. The First American National Tour of Beautiful will launch in September 2015, beginning at the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) in Providence, Rhode Island (September 15-20, 2015); a 12-week limited engagement at the Oriental Theatre in Chicago, IL (December 1, 2015 - February 21, 2016); and will play the Hollywood Pantages in Los Angeles, CA; DPAC, Durham Performing Arts Center in Durham, NC in October 2015; and Blumenthal Performing Arts Center in Charlotte, NC, among other cities across the country.
According to the Toronto Star, Chilna Kennedy, who made her Broadway debut in 2012's Jesus Christ Superstar, will soon be filling Tony winner Jessie Mueller's shoes. The Toronto-based actress will reportedly join the Broadway production of BEAUTIFUL as 'Carole King' in early 2015, when current star Mueller leaves to lead the national tour.

According to the New York Post, the legendary Carole King isn't quite ready to watch the new musical about her that's currently running in San Francisco before heading to Broadway in early 2014. They report that 'It's not an easy thing to watch your life played out onstage. Carole's excited about the show, but isn't ready to see it," explained a rep for the production, which begins with King onstage at Carnegie Hall in the era of her 1971 smash "Tapestry." In the audience were King's ex-husband Gerry Goffin and songwriters Cynthia Weil and Barry Mann.'
