Royal Family Production (RFP) will present a benefit workshop presentation of the new musical Brass Heart by RFP associate artistic director Jessica Wu. The musical will be directed by Chris Henry with choreography by Lorna Ventura and will take place on Sunday, April 2nd with a special pre-show cocktail reception ($250, reception begins at 5pm) and Monday, April 3rdat 12:30pm. The revival of Miss Saigon marks the fifth Broadway show for Julius Sermonia. It's also the first time he's been hired for a swing position-- one that covers potentially nineteen roles. Considering the sheer size of the forty-plus member cast, it's no surprise he was called to suit up for two roles soon after previews began.

Rehearsals begin Thursday, January 12 for Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed new production of Boublil and Schonberg's legendary musical MISS SAIGON, which will return to its original home, The Broadway Theater (1681 Broadway) beginning performancesWednesday, March 1. The original production of MISS SAIGON opened at the same theater on April 11, 1991 and played there through January 28, 2001. Directed by Laurence Connor (the recent hit revival of LES MISERABLES, School of Rock), the Broadway return of MISS SAIGON will feature four of its London stars, Jon Jon Briones as The Engineer, Eva Noblezada as Kim, Alistair Brammer as Chris and Rachelle Ann Go as Gigi. The cast also includes Katie Rose Clarke as Ellen, Nicholas Christopher as John, Devin Ilaw as Thuy. Lianah Sta. Ana will play the role of Kim at certain performances. MISS SAIGON has its official opening Thursday, March 23. MISS SAIGON will play a limited engagement through January 13, 2018 before launching a North American tour later in the year.

PAN ASIAN REPERTORY THEATRE continues its 38th Season with a re-imagining of the epic musical, James A. Michener's SAYONARA. This classic story of romance and the power of love to overcome the conflict between two clashing cultures, the US Military and a world-famous all female Takarazuka dance theatre, has a book by William Luce, lyrics by Hy Gilbert, music by George Fischoff, and is adapted from the novel by James A. Michener. Directed by Tisa Chang, with choreography by Rumi Oyama, and musical direction by Sarah Brett England; the production will begin previews on July 5, 2015 and run until July 26, 2015 at the Clurman Theatre at Theatre Row (410 W 42nd Street between 9th and Dyer). The King and I, one of Rodgers and Hammerstein's most treasured musicals, is the next show in the 2013 Music Circus season, at the Wells Fargo Pavilion from August 6 - 11. With book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II and music by Richard Rodgers, the show features the classic songs 'Shall We Dance?,' 'Getting to Know You' and 'Something Wonderful.'
