Preview performances begin May 25 prior to official press opening on May 30. Repertorio Español performs in Spanish, with English simultext optional at every seat in the company's 140-seat theater.

The Festival seeks to broaden the opportunities for women in the entertainment industry by producing new work by women with more than 50% female representation of all artists involved.

Hostos Center for the Arts continues its partnership with Repertorio Español, the award-winning Spanish language theater company, with Blind Spot, (Punto ciego), written by Gerardo Cardenas and directed by Jose Zayas on Wednesday, April 18 at 7 PM in the Repertory Theater at Hostos Community College, 450 Grand Concourse in the Bronx.

The Roll includes Member Theaters PYGmalion Productions (April 20-May 5 in Salt Lake City), Simpatico Theatre (June 6-24 in Philadelphia), Know Theatre of Cincinnati (January 11-February 2, 2019), and The Wilbury Theatre Group (April 11-21, 2019 in Providence). Red Bike was presented at NNPN's 2017 National Showcase of New Plays, hosted by Orlando Shakespeare Theatre.

The exciting 6 play season includes plans for revivals of classic plays from the American canon alongside experimental new works by the brightest theatre artists working today, including Paul Vogel's Pulitzer Prize-winning How I Learned to Drive, Idris Goodwin's hip-hop inspired drama Hype Man: a break beat play, Cesar Alvarez and The Lisps' 2016 avant-Americana musical Futurity, a minimalist interpretation of Arthur Miller's American classic The Crucible, Nick Payne's Constellations, and the 2015 Tony Award-winner for Best Musical, Lisa Kron and Jeanine Tesori's Fun Home, based on the graphic novel by Allison Bechdel.

Continuing with its mission to support Latin@/x playwrights, the 50 Playwrights Project (50PP) has released its second annual list of recommended unproduced Latin@/x plays. Dubbed The 50PP List, it is comprised of eight production-ready plays by Latin@/x playwrights.
