IAMA Theatre Company Names Cara Greene Epstein To Newly-Created Executive Director Position

Cara Greene Epstein has transitioned into the newly-created position of executive director at IAMA Theatre Company following a two-year stint as the company's director of education. In her new role, Greene Epstein will continue to work closely with artistic director Stefanie Black, associate artistic director Margaux Susi and producing director Lara Myrene to take L.A's premier female-led theater company to the next level.

PETER AND THE STARCATCHER, by Rick Elice, directed by Roger Rees and Alex Timbers began preview performances on Broadway at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre on Wednesday, March 28 and opened last night, April 15th. BroadwayWorld.com was there to capture the cast at their fun filled opening night party.

Epic Presents 2 Shakespeare Plays With HS Students 12/11,18

New York's OBIE Award-winning Epic Theatre Ensemble (Zak Berkman, Founding producer/Artistic Director), and Epic's After School Shakespeare Program (Melissa Friedman, Founding Executive Director of Education), in conjunction with Chelsea High School and Automotive High School, will present productions of two classic Shakespeare plays featuring the students from each school: the Automotive High School production of Romeo and Juliet sponsored by Lanc?me for three performances, beginning December 11th; and the Chelsea High School production of The Winter's Tale, made possible by support from the Meringoff Family Foundation, for four performances beginning December 18th. All performances will take place at the East 13th Street Theater (136 East 13th Street).
