2013 National Tour of C.S. Lewis' THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS Begins in Durham, Jan 19

THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS, the provocative and wickedly funny theatrical adaptation of the C.S. Lewis novel about spiritual warfare from a demon's point of view, will return to the Raleigh/Durham area by popular demand for two performances only. The limited engagement will run at the Durham Performing Arts Center, 123 Vivan Street, Durham on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS performed to capacity audiences previously at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium in 2010.

THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS, the provocative and wickedly funny theatrical adaptation of the C.S. Lewis novel about spiritual warfare from a demon's point of view, will return to New York City by popular demand for five performances only. The limited engagement will run at the NYU Skirball Center, 566 LaGuardia Place (LaGuardia Place and Washington Square South), tonight, November 15 at 8 p.m.; Friday, November 16 at 8 p.m.; Saturday, November 17 at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m; and Sunday, November 18 at 3 p.m. In 2010 THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS was anine-month hit at New York's Westside Theatre.

THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS, the provocative and wickedly funny theatrical adaptation of the C.S. Lewis novel about spiritual warfare from a demon's point of view, will return to Washington, D.C. by popular demand. The limited engagement will run at the Lansburgh Theatre, 450 7th St. NW, in Washington, D.C. from Wednesday, December 19 through Sunday, December 23 and Wednesday, December 26 through Sunday, December 30, 2012. THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS was a popular, sell out hit at the Lansburgh Theatre in 2008 and 2009.

The production sold out five performances at the same venue in July 2011.

Performances are tonight, June 7 through 10 and June 14 through 17, Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 4 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m.

SIGHT UNSEEN Closes at SCR

South Coast Repertory revived Donald Margulies' Sight Unseen, an SCR-commissioned play that had its world premiere here 20 seasons ago. It runs through April 1 on the Julianne Argyros Stage.
