John Kerry came to NYC today to say a special thanks to those in the Broadway community who supported his run for the Presidency.

Hollywood and theater stars were on hand for the 2005 Gay Pride Awards at City Hall on June 23rd, and so was BroadwayWorld!

Legendary set and costume designer Tony Walton was honored with the prestegious Oscar Hammerstein Award for Lifetime Achievement at a star-studded gala.

The Roundabout Theatre company production opened on June 16th, and runs through August 14th starring Kate Burton, Michael Cumptsy, John Dossett and Lynn Redgrave.

On Monday, June 6, 2005, The York Theatre Company will present the international stage and film designer Tony Walton with the fifteenth Oscar Hammerstein Award for Lifetime Achievement in Musical Theatre at its annual spring benefit at Broadway's Hudson Theatre, 145 West 44th Street.

On April 25th stars came out to celebrate the music of Broadway at the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center.

The stars will be out celebrating the music of Broadway and Broadway-bound shows on Monday night.

BroadwayWorld.com's Standing Ovations 3 benefit on April 17 was followed by an after-party at Serafina.

RCA Victor is pleased to present the DVD release of Broadway: The Golden Age, By The Legends Who Were There. The DVD of the award-winning film by Rick McKay, featuring 88 minutes of bonus material, is available in stores now.

The final of three concerts for John Kerry took place on Oct. 10th.

Scott Siegel presented a roster of A-List Broadway singers performing hits from decades of musicals-- all unamplified.

Ars Nova presents the third and final installment of Voices for Change, featuring performances from Broadway's leading musical actors, including Alfred Molina, Michael Cerveris, Cady Huffman and Karen Mason, among others. Friday, October 10th at 7 PM at Ars Nova (511 West 54th Street, just west of 10th Ave.).

Concerts for Change, a national campaign holding fundraising events to raise money for Democratic efforts, announces the lineup for the third and final installment in its Voices for Change series, which features performances from Broadway's leading musical actors, including several Tony winners and nominees.
