The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey Celebrates the 75th Anniversary of Thornton Wilder's OUR TOWN, Starting October 17

In celebration of the 75th anniversary of Thornton Wilder's great dramatic homage to small-town American life and the greater universal experience of life, The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey presents Our Town beginning October 17th and continuing through November 17th at the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre, 36 Madison Ave. (at Lancaster Road) in Madison. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased by calling the Box Office at973-408-5600 or by visiting www.ShakespeareNJ.org. Performances are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays at 7:30 p.m.; Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m.; and Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m. Individual tickets range from $35 to $70; student rush tickets are available 30 minutes prior to curtain for $15.

Abigail Taylor-Sansom & Dan Wilson Join Cast of Off-Broadway's THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE

OFF-BROADWAY FAMILY THEATRE announced that Abigail Taylor-Sansom and Dan Wilson have joined the cast of the inaugural production of C.S. Lewis' 'THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE'. The production, which opened October 22, 2011, continues to play on Saturdays at 11 AM at St. Luke's Theatre, 308 West 46th Street (west of 8th Avenue), NYC. Beginning in October, the show will also be available for special school matinee performances.

KNUFFLE BUNNY, TARZAN and More Set for The Rose Theater's 2013-14 Season

The Rose Theater, one of the country's largest theaters specializing in professional productions for young audiences, will present nine shows for the 2013-14 season. Included are two world premieres, Leo Lionni's Frederick, a musical based on the popular 1968 children's book, and The Grocer's Goblin & The Little Mermaid adapted from two Hans Christen Andersen tales by Rose Playwright-in-Residence Brian Guehring and Rose Director of Youth Productions Stephanie Jacobson.

Multimedia Production RED LETTER JESUS Set for Provision Theater, 9/6-10/13

Non-profit Provision Theater Company launches its 2013-2014 season with Red Letter Jesus, a deeply moving new show of Jesus' words from the synoptic gospels (Matthew, Mark and Luke) performed with an original multimedia presentation, including stunning videography captured throughout Israel and Jordan. The production will run September 6 through October 13 with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m.and Sundays at 3:00 p.m. at Provision Theater, 1001 W. Roosevelt Rd., Chicago, IL.

Playwright Mark St. Germain to Visit Cape May Stage, 9/21-22

Playwright Mark St. Germain, author of Freud's Last Session, will be paying Cape May Stage a special visit Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22. In two very special talk-backs after the 8 p.m. performances, St. Germain will illuminate audiences to the inspiration for the show and the process of tackling the radically different positions of the two main characters. Audiences will get the opportunity to pose questions and engage in discourse with St. Germain, accompanied by light refreshments in the intimate setting of the Robert Shackleton Playhouse.

Cape May Stage to Present FREUD'S LAST SESSION, 9/18-10/19

Freud's Last Session will run from Wednesday, September 18 to Saturday, October 19 at the Robert Shackleton Playhouse located on the corner of Lafayette and Bank Streets in downtown Cape May. Performances are at 8 p.m. and occur Tuesdays through Sundays. Tickets are $35 for adults, $30 seniors (62+) and $15 students. A half-price preview performance will take place Wednesday, September 18 followed by the official opening night Thursday, September 19. THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS, the provocative and wickedly funny theatrical adaptation of the C.S. Lewis novel about spiritual warfare from a demon's point of view, returns to Dallas by popular demand for two performances only. The limited engagement will run at theEisemann Center for Performing Arts, 2351 Performance Drive, in Richardson, Texas on Saturday, November 9 at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.

THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS, the provocative and wickedly funny theatrical adaptation of the C.S. Lewis novel about spiritual warfare from a demon's point of view, returns to Houston for three performances only. The limited engagement will run at Wortham Center, Cullen Theater, 550 Prairie Street in Houston tonight, August 16 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, August 17 at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Lamb's Players Theatre Announces Season 2014

Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival Presents THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS Tonight

Diversifying its offerings throughout the season with special one-night-only performances, The Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival presents Anthony Lawton's adaptation of C.S. Lewis' The Screwtape Letters. The 90-minute, two-person play will be performed today, July 29 at 7:30pm on the Main Stage.
