Casting has been announced today for the European premiere of Guards at the Taj, written by Pulitzer Prize finalist Rajiv Joseph and directed by Jamie Lloyd. Danny Ashok (Disgraced, Bush Theatre; Capital, BBC) will play Humayun and Darren Kuppan (East is East, West End/ UK Tour) will play Babur. 

Multi-award-winning comedy writer, actor and author Miranda Hart will make her West End Theatre debut as Miss Hannigan in Annie opening in the West End in May 2017. Previews at the Piccadilly Theatre will begin on 23 May 2017 with opening night on 5 June 2017. The production, directed by Nikolai Foster, will be produced by Michael Harrison and David Ian. The Gate Theatre today announces an extension for its critically acclaimed, smash-hit production of George Brant's Grounded which is returning to the Gate following two previous sell-out runs.  The production, starring Lucy Ellinson, now runs for an extra week until 25 March. 

Manhattan Theatre Club's American premiere of Linda, a new play by Penelope Skinner (The Ruins of Civilization at MTC, The Village Bike) directed by MTC's award-winning Artistic Director Lynne Meadow (The Assembled Parties, Wit), opens tonight, February 28, 2017 at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street).

???????Theatr Clwyd, Gagglebabble and The Other Room present Sinners Club by Lucy Rivers, inspired by the story of Ruth Ellis - the last woman to be hanged in Britain. Titas Halder directs Lucy Rivers, Tom Cottle, Dan Messore and Aiden Thorne as the band The Bad Mothers as they record their latest album featuring songs inspired by Ruth's short life, live in front of an audience.

Irish Repertory Theatre has announced full casting for Eugene O'Neill's THE EMPEROR JONES. Directed by Ciaran O'Reilly (Shining City), and starring Obi Abili (Ivo van Hove's Antigone at BAM), THE EMPEROR JONES begins performances on March 1, 2017 at Irish Rep Theatre (132 West 22nd Street) on the Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage, opens on March 12, and runs through April 23, 2017. 

This winter, Company of Fools will present Nick Payne's critically acclaimed play Constellations. Constellations will run February 15 through March 4, 2017, at the Liberty Theatre in Hailey.
