Segerstrom Center for the Arts is rolling out plans for its 30th Season, beginning with the 2015 - 2016 Broadway line-up. It will be a year of extraordinary artists, blockbuster shows and world renowned companies: great dance and Broadway hits, jazz, cabaret and classical music, family entertainment plus many special guests and events.
Swarovski Used 95,000 Crystals for This Year's Oscars

For the eighth year, the Austrian crystal house dressed the Dolby Digital Theatre in Los Angeles for the annual Academy Awards. Working with Tony Award-winning production designer Derek McLane for the third year running, a total of 95,000 Swarovski crystals were used to bring unprecedented sparkle to the event, which was watched by 36.6 million viewers around the globe.

Sunday, January 18th, BAM Howard Gilman Opera House swelled with anticipation for Mariinsky Ballet in Alexei Ratmansky's Cinderella, conducted by Valery Gergiev. In Ratmansky's hands, the tale occurred in the Russia of the 1930's and in the manner of Mikhail Zoshchenko's satirical, to-the-point storytelling.

BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center, the longest operating performance venue in lower Manhattan, presents Peter Cincotti, performing tonight, October 25 at 8PM, the first of four major concerts in the 2014-2015 Main Event Series, which also includes the Spanish Harlem Orchestra (November 21 at 8PM, $45 - $35) and The Hit Men (December 13 at 8PM, $45 - $35). Also featured are Alexis P. Suter (January 9 at 8PM, $45 - $35), and Ruthie Foster (May 8 at 8PM, $45 - $35), among others.
