To commemorate the centennial of the United States' April 6, 1917 entry into World War I, the French Institute Alliance Francaise (FIAF), New York's premiere French cultural center, is thrilled to present a special cine-concert screening of the American classic Wingson Thursday, April 6 at 7:30pm in FIAF's Florence Gould Hall, 55 East 59th Street (between Madison & Park).

Audiences will see short teasers of scripts submitted by local playwrights earlier this season and will vote for the script that will receive a full workshop at OCTA this summer. The winner will be announced following the second night of the competition.

Opening night for SCHOOL HOUSE ROCK LIVE! at the Olathe Civic Theatre on Friday September 11 was billed as a show full of energy, humor, music, dancing and some very valuable grammar lessons. Unfortunately, the show became more of a test of tolerance for low energy acting, singing that made audience members cringe, and choreography that was awkward and unimaginative at the best.
