Acclaimed bluegrass group Balsam Range has reliably featured gospel songs on each of their nine albums, making them an integral part of the band's sound and a reflection of the members' personal faith. Now, they've released The Gospel Collection, an album that features the very best of those recordings released in just over a decade.

On the heels of their second International Bluegrass Music Association Entertainer of the Year award, Balsam Range continues to be a tour de force in Bluegrass with their album, Aeonic, available now from Mountain Home Music Company.

International Bluegrass Music Association Entertainer of the Year Balsam Range has a penchant for using their art to highlight the art of others, carefully selecting paintings and drawings to adorn the covers of their albums.

In just over a decade, Balsam Range has collected armfuls of industry awards, held multiple months at the top of radio charts, recorded and performed with the Atlanta Pops Orchestra, and headlined an array of eclectic music festivals, all the while maintaining their identity and refining their craft to become one of the most vital artists in the roots genre.

It was a big night for Balsam Range at the 2014 International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) awards, which were announced during a red carpet event at the annual World of Bluegrass convention in Raleigh, NC. Check out the pictures below!
