Signature Theatre has announced the full cast and creative team for the world premiere production of Disney's Freaky Friday.

On Stage at Kingsborough, a premier performing arts presenter located at Brooklyn's Kingsborough College is pleased to announce its 2016-2017 season, featuring world class artists from around the globe. On Stage at Kingsborough aims to bring top notch performing arts to South Brooklyn with an eclectic roster of artists spanning multiple genres including music, dance, theatre and family programming.

Broadway legend Stephen Schwartz (Oscar, Grammy and Tony winning composer of Wicked, Godspell and Pippin) and Princess Cruises just gave a workshop presentation to introduce the second musical production show curated inside of this industry-first partnership.

WICKED alums Lindsay Mendez, Derek Klena, and Kara Lindsay will join together tonight at Connecticut's Ridgefield Playhouse for An Evening with Stephen Schwartz. Their performances will be interwoven throughout the evening, which will consist primarily of an interview between Michael Kerker and Stephen Schwartz himself.

Daniel C. Levine has taken his Broadway background and is helping bring Broadway to Ridgefield, CT. Levine is currently the Artistic Director of The Ridgefield Playhouse Broadway & Cabaret Series and is looking to bring Broadway to this Connecticut community.

Broadway triple threat Jeremy Benton adds the role of 'developing director' to his already laudable resume when he stages an upcoming industry reading of the new musical, Sweet Swing!, in New York City next week. Benton directs and choreographs the six-person musical, which has book and music by Diane Tauser (Notre Dame de Paris and Stone Cold Beauty), and tells the real story of a wartime romance during World War Two.

Gotta Dance! Creator/Director Daniel C. Levine brought his celebration of Broadway's best musical numbers, Broadway Backstage, to On Stage At Kingsborough audiences two seasons ago and received an extremely enthusiastic audience response. Gotta Dance! appears to have already captured everyone's heart, setting record-breaking advance sales for the engagement for the On Stage At Kingsborough engagement.

Producer Bellanca Smigel Rutter (The Bridges of Madison County, Macbeth) will present an additional industry reading of The Me Nobody Knows in New York City on September 16 and 17, 2014 following a two-week dance lab helmed by director Stafford Arima (Allegiance, Altar Boyz), choreographer Taye Diggs (Rent, "Private Practice"), and musical director Bryan Perri (Wicked). The presentations mark the next step toward a commercial production after a successful exploratory reading this past May 2014.

This hilarious musical, based off of the 1960 movie, is cosmic fun for the whole family. With toe tapping tunes and a carnivorous alien planet, this show is sure to entertain.
