Town Hall's 'Broadway By The Year' Season Kicks of with Musicals of 1921, 2/14

The Town Hall (123 West 43rd Street) New York's landmark concert venue presents the 11th season of its acclaimed Broadway By The Year® series, created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel for The Town Hall on Valentine's Day, Monday, February 14th at 8PM. Kicking off the 90th Anniversary of The Town Hall, the Broadway By The Year® season will begin with THE BROADWAY MUSICALS of 1921, celebrating the great music that was performed the same year the historic building came to be.

Jackson will debut his new one-man show, All I Know. His act will be followed by concerts performed by Karen Olivo on January 14 and January 15, Gavin Creel on January 21 and January 22, and Bryan Batt on February 4 and 5.

Activist and Broadway Mom Gayle Batt Dies at 79

Civil activist Gayle Batt, passed away today, December 21 in her home in New Orleans. Batt, mother of Broadway actor Bryan Batt, lost a 32 year battle with cancer. She was 79 years old.

Lewis Cleale Joins Cast of BOOK OF MORMON

Stage veteran Lewis Cleale has joined the cast of THE BOOK OF MORMON, the first Broadway musical from the creators of 'South Park'. The production opens on Broadway on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre (230 West 49th Street). Previews begin on February 24, 2011.

Michael Cumpsty (one of the recent stars of the hit film 'Eat, Pray, Love') joins the cast of Gingold Theatrical Group's Project Shaw presentation of HEARTBREAK HOUSE, a light comedy about the residents and guests of an English country house crammed full of revelations, romance, and shocking discoveries, just before WWI changes everything -- on Monday, December 20 at 7pm at The Players Club (16 Gramercy Park South) in Manhattan. David Staller produces and directs.

Bryan Batt Brings 'Batt on a Hot Tin Roof' to Feinstein's, 10/3 & 10/4

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed 'Best of New York' by New York Magazine and 'an invaluable New York institution' by The New York Post will continue its Fall 2010 season with the debut BRYAN BATT - two-time Screen Actors Guild Award winner and star of television's 'Mad Men' - on October 3 and 4. Mr. Batt takes to the New York nightclub stage with 'Batt On A Hot Tin Roof' in an evening of song and charismatic storytelling, weaving a hilarious and poignant tale of his 'life experience' in the Big Apple and the Big Easy. From Cole Porter to Burt Bacharach, embracing classic Broadway and new composers, Batt creates a fun filled evening celebrating heart, hope, and home.
