PlayCo and WP Theater have revealed the dates for the world premiere production of Corinne Jaber's 'Munich Medea: Happy Family,' directed by Lee Sunday Evans, from January 30 to February 25.

PlayCo has shared details for two bracing future world premiere productions, and a revamped website linking audiences with its vital past as well as current feature articles and interviews. 

Company of Wolves presents Achilles, created and performed by Ewan Downie. This heart-stopping fusion of storytelling, dance and song re-imagines the Greek myth, telling of a man's exorcism: a burning out of his vulnerability, his rage, and his humanity.

24/6: A Jewish Theater Company, New York's first ensemble dedicated to Sabbath-observant artists, will present Ken Kaissar's brand new play Looking Through Glass, an original commission by 24/6, developed in collaboration with the playwright. This production celebrates 24/6's 7th Anniversary.

A Jewish Theater Company and New York's first one dedicated to Sabbath-observant artists, will present A DYBBUK FOR TWO PEOPLE, Bruce Myers's acclaimed two person adaptation of S. Ansky's classic Jewish play THE DYBBUK directed by 24/6's Co-Founding Artistic Director, Yoni Oppenheim. The production will play on December 28th at 3:00 pm, at the JCC in Manhattan, 334 Amsterdam Avenue at 76th Street New York, NY 10023. Press night will take place on Thursday, April 14 at 7:30 p.m.

For its third show of its 30th anniversary season, Theatre for a New Audience will present the New York premiere of C.I.C.T. / Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord production of Love Is My Sin, the sonnets of William Shakespeare adapted by Peter Brook and performed by his wife, Natasha Parry and Michael Pennington.

The National Theatre has announced casting for its upcoming productions, starting with Moira Buffini's WELCOME TO THEBES which will run starting June 15. Nikki Amuka-Bird and David Harewood will star in the World Premiere of the play, which tells the Greek myth of the first democratically elected president of Thebes in a modernized way. The show will be directed by Richard Eyre and the cast will also feature Madeline Appiah, Rakie Ayola, Omar Brown, Jessie Burton, Jacqueline Defferary, Daniel Fine, Karlina Grace, Rene Gray, Tracy Ifeachor, Irma Inniss, Chuk Iwuji, Alexia Khadime, Ferdinand Kingsley, Aicha Kossoko, Simon Manyonda, Bruce Myers, Pamela Nomvete, Calre Perkins, Victor Power, Daniel Poyser, Joy Richardson, Vinette Robinson, Zara Tempest-Walters, and Michael Wildman.
