Netflix and 20th Century Fox Television Distribution today announced their first global SVOD licensing agreement.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has extended invitations to join the organization to 683 artists and executives who have distinguished themselves by their contributions to theatrical motion pictures.

This morning BroadwayWorld participated in a media conference call with ABC president Channing Dungey regarding the network's just-announced 2016-17 programming slate.

ABC continues its commitment to distinctive storytelling with the announcement of its 2016-17 slate of programming, including the addition of nine new series.
