THEATER TALK to Welcome LOVE LETTERS' Brian Dennehy & A.R. Gurney

The new, all-star limited-engagement Broadway run of A. R. Gurney's beloved two-hander, Love Letters about the times in which people shared their intimate thoughts in letters, brings actor Brian Dennehy and the playwright to THEATER TALK, offering their views on the continuing popularity of the piece – written in 1988 and performed world-wide ever since.

Tyne Daly, Harriet Harris, Sierra Boggess, Lisa Howard, David Burtka & More Will Star in David Hyde Pierce-Helmed IT SHOULDA BEEN YOU on Broadway; Opens April 14

Producers Daryl Roth, Scott Landis, Jane Bergere, Jayne Baron Sherman and John O'Boyle announced today that It Shoulda Been You, a new musical comedy directed by David Hyde Pierce in his Broadway directorial debut, will open this spring at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street). With an original book & lyrics by Brian Hargrove and music by Barbara Anselmi, It Shoulda Been You puts a refreshingly modern spin on the traditional wedding comedy, proving that when it comes to wedding day insanity, it's all relative. Tony and Emmy Award-winner Tyne Daly and Tony Award-winner Harriet Harris headline a cast of Broadway favorites that also includes Sierra Boggess, David Burtka, Lisa Howard, Edward Hibbert and Steve Rosen. It Shoulda Been You, which had a sold-out premiere at New Jersey's George Street Playhouse, begins previews on Broadway on March 17, 2015, with an opening night date set for Tuesday, April 14, 2015.

Frankie Grande, Lauren Zakrin to Join Broadway's ROCK OF AGES; Tony Nominee Constantine Maroulis Extends Run

Producers of the five-time Tony Award-nominated Rock of Ages announced today that 'Big Brother' starFrankie J. Grande will return to Broadway in the smash-hit musical beginning November 10, 2014. Grande will star in the role of 'Franz' - the free-spirited son of German developer Hertz Klineman, who threatens to tear down the Sunset Strip - through January 18, 2015.

Broadway's LOVE LETTERS Sets New General Rush Policy

The first Broadway revival of A.R. Gurney's thrilling Love Letters has announced a new general rush policy. A limited number of $37 general rush tickets will be available for each performance when the box office opens for that day's performance(s). Limited to 2 tickets per patron, $37 (inclusive of a $2 facility fee) rush tickets are available for purchase by cash or credit card at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre box office (256 West 47th Street).
