I'd venture to say that this is one of the strongest new plays I've seen at Woolly in recent memory.

Roundabout Theatre Company's Underground production of Too Much, Too Much, Too Many, a new play by Meghan Kennedy, began previews on Friday, October 25th and officially opens on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Roundabout's Black Box Theatre, at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street, NYC, NY, 10036). This is a limited engagement through January 5, 2014. The cast of Too Much, Too Much, Too Many includes Rebecca Henderson, Luke Kirby, James Rebhorn, and Phyllis Somerville, directed by Sheryl Kaller. Dallas Theater Center brings a brand new adaptation of the Dickens classic A Christmas Carol to the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre at the AT&T Performing Arts Center for the first time. DTC Artistic Director Kevin Moriarty wrote the new adaptation and will direct the holiday favorite, with choreography by Joel Ferrell. A Christmas Carol makes its Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre debut on November 21 and runs through December 24. Following the end of its run on March 24th at The Pershing Square Signature Center, Signature Theatre's critically acclaimed production of David Henry Hwang's play THE DANCE AND THE RAILROAD, directed by May Adrales, will play a limited run at The Inaugural Wuzhen Theatre Festival in Wuzhen, China, May 9-12, 2013. The entire production, featuring Ruy Iskandar as Ma and Yuekun Wu as Lone, will make the transfer. This marks the first time that a play by David Henry Hwang has been performed in mainland China.

When two men with struggling relationships, neat and particular Felix Ungar and disheveled and rough-edged Oscar Madison, decide to live together, the results are funny and poignant. The Odd Couple opens with previews tonight, March 15 and runs through Sunday, April 14 at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre in the AT&T Performing Arts Center.

St. Ann's Warehouse welcomes back Kneehigh and director Emma Rice for the New York premiere of The Wild Bride. In this adaptation of the Brothers Grimm fairy tale 'The Girl Without Hands,' narrated by Satan himself, a father accidentally sells his daughter to the Devil. When our heroine cleverly escapes, a lyrical love story laced with devilish humor unfolds. The production features a bluegrass score by longtime Kneehigh composer Stu Barker, performed by live musicians and the cast.

Atlantic Theater Company has announced The Strand Series, a new partnership with the legendary Strand Book Store. Presented with each Atlantic Mainstage production, the conversation series expands the discussion between Atlantic's playwrights, directors, actors and other artists. The upcoming installment will be held today, February 11 at 7pm and feature playwright Craig Lucas and director Pam MacKinnon of THE LYING LESSON, which begins previews at Atlantic's Linda Gross Theater on February 20.
