Syracuse Stage presents Pulitzer-Prize Winning Drama HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE

Come along for the ride as Syracuse Stage presents Paula Vogel's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama How I Learned to Drive.This deeply compassionate play looking into how one woman's courage to face a troubled time in her past leads her to take control of her own life opens April 7 in the Archbold Theatre at the Syracuse Stage/SU Drama Complex, 820 E. Genesee St. There will be two preview performances on Wednesday, April 5, and Thursday, April 6.

Dallas Theater Center Announces ELECTRA A One-of-a-Kind Outdoor Theater Experience

 Dallas Theater Center announced today complete details for Electra beginning on April 4 with a Pay-What-You-Can performance and running through May 21 in the outdoor venue of the Annette Strauss Square at the AT&T Performing Arts Center. Press Night will be April 12 at 8:30 p.m. Tickets to Electra are on sale now at www.DallasTheaterCenter.org and by phone at (214) 880-0202.

Two NNPN Rolling World Premieres in Conversation in Indianapolis and Philadelphia

TheatreSquared announced the full cast and creative team for its upcoming holiday feature, a world premiere stage adaptation of Charles Dickens's Great Expectations. After a startling Christmas Eve encounter, Pip's life will never be the same. Plucked from poverty and thrust into the Victorian upper class, he strives to discover himself and find true love while untangling a web of secrets. Six actors portray more than 30 characters in this virtuosic retelling for the stage. Performances are scheduled for November 30 through New Year's Day, with tickets ($15-$45) available at theatre2.org or (479) 443-5600.

PARTY PEOPLE Opens Tonight at The Public Theater

The Public Theater presents the New York Premiere of PARTY PEOPLE by UNIVERSES (Steven Sapp, Mildred Ruiz-Sapp, and William Ruiz a.k.a Ninja). Developed and directed by Liesl Tommy with choreography by Millicent Johnnie, PARTY PEOPLE began performances on November 1 and runs through Sunday, December 4, with an official press opening tonight, November 15.
