The Shubert Theatre box office (255 West 44th) opens Monday, August 24, at 10am for the original musical MEMPHIS. The Shubert Theatre box office will be open Monday through Saturday s from 10am to 8pm, and beginning September 27th, Sundays from noon to 6pm.

Matt Cavenaugh, Tony in Broadway's West Side Story, and Jenny Powers, the co-star of LCT's recent musical Happiness, are getting married in Boston today, August 23rd, at the Gate of Heaven Catholic Church in Boston. The Rev. Lawrence J. Drennan, a Roman Catholic priest, is to perform the ceremony.

Nickelodeon and Broadway Across America are teaming up to bring 'Dora the Explorer Live! Search for the City of Lost Toys,' starring the world's most famous Latina explorer, to Atlanta from August 21-23 for six performances. The last Dora 'Lost Toys' U.S. tour was seen by more than 1.2 million people during its 2003-2004 run.

Broadway's most talked about new musical and the biggest Tony Award®-winner in years is coming to Milwaukee. Spring Awakening, the 8-time Tony Award® winning Broadway musical, will open at the Marcus Center and play from October 6-11. This show is presented by Broadway Across America Milwaukee and the Marcus Center of the Performing as part of Time Warner Cable Broadway at the Marcus Center.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) is pleased to announce the full cast for Ordinary Days, a new musical with Music & Lyrics by Adam Gwon, directed by Marc Bruni. Hennepin Theatre Trust announced today that single tickets for the North American premiere and tour launch of The 101 Dalmatians Musical with a cast of canines and humans will go on sale Friday, Aug. 28, 2009.

Broadway Across America (BAA) has renewed its agreement with the Columbus Association for the Performing Arts (CAPA) to present Broadway productions in Columbus. Under the new 10-year agreement, CAPA will locally manage the Fifth Third Bank Broadway Across America Series, taking on the responsibilities of marketing, event management, ticketing, sponsorship, and public relations.
