Networks Presentations, LLC and Blue Man Productions are bringing BLUE MAN GROUP's new theatrical touring production to Omaha's Orpheum Theater Tuesday, January 17 through Sunday, January 22

The national tour of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, the international smash hit musical inspired by the true story of four rock ‘n' roll icons will make its Grand Rapids premiere January 17-22, 2012 at DeVos Performance Hall as part of the Fifth Third Bank Broadway Grand Rapids Series.

The tour of the smash hit Broadway revival of WEST SIDE STORY is coming to Sacramento. WEST SIDE STORY will open at the Sacramento Community Center Theater on January 24 and play through January 29, 2012. Tony Award-winning librettist Arthur Laurents' Broadway direction will be recreated for the tour by David Saint, the Associate Director on Broadway. The original Jerome Robbins choreography is reproduced by Tony Award-nominee Joey McKneely (The Boy from Oz, The Life).

STOMP is making its return to the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center. The return of the percussive hit also brings some new sections of the show now updated and restructured and the addition of two new full-scale routines, utilizing props like tractor tire inner tubes and paint cans.

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday, New York City Councilman Ruben Wills (Queens District 28) will present a New York City Proclamation to the Broadway production of The Mountaintop by Katori Hall. Citations will be given to cast members Samuel L. Jackson, Angela Bassett, director Kenny Leon and producers Jean Doumanian and Sonia Friedman, following the Sunday matinee performance, January 15th.

Disney's The Lion King, celebrating nearly 15 years since its 1997 world premiere in Minneapolis, opens tonight, Friday, Jan. 13, at 8 p.m. at Hennepin Theatre Trust's Orpheum Theatre for a limited engagement of five weeks through Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012.

Written by Tony nominee Douglas Carter Beane (book) and Lewis Flinn (music/lyrics), LYSISTRATA JONES is directed and choreographed by Tony nominee Dan Knechtges.

LYSISTRATA JONES may be giving its final performance on Sunday, January 8, 2012, but as revealed last night at Seth's Broadway Chatterbox, an original cast album is on its way! Upon closing, the musical will have played 34 previews and 30 performances. Written by Tony nominee Douglas Carter Beane (book) and Lewis Flinn (music/lyrics), LYSISTRATA JONES is directed and choreographed by Tony nominee Dan Knechtges. No official announcement has been made about a release date.
