PNC Broadway Across America - Pittsburgh, presented by The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, Pittsburgh Symphony and Broadway Across America, proudly announces the 2011/2012 season. PNC Broadway Across America - Pittsburgh, one of the city's premier entertainment series, is sponsored by The PNC Foundation. This season presents an exceptional array of live entertainment on the Cultural District's world-class stages.

Dates have been announced for the Pittsburgh return engagement of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. The musical will make its much-anticipated return to the Benedum Center for the Performing Arts on Tuesday, September 4, through Sunday, September 23, 2012.

The tour of the smash hit Broadway revival of WEST SIDE STORY is coming to Sacramento. WEST SIDE STORY will open at the Sacramento Community Center Theater on January 24 and play through January 29, 2012. Tony Award-winning librettist Arthur Laurents' Broadway direction will be recreated for the tour by David Saint, the Associate Director on Broadway. The original Jerome Robbins choreography is reproduced by Tony Award-nominee Joey McKneely (The Boy from Oz, The Life).

Producers of The Gershwins' PORGY AND BESS, which officially opened on Thursday, January 12th, 2012 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 West 46th Street), have announced a student rush policy for the critically-acclaimed Broadway revival.

Producers Jean Doumanian and Sonia Friedman announced today that their premiere Broadway production of Katori Hall's Olivier Award-winning play, The Mountaintop, which is playing to sold out houses at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 W45th Street), has recouped its entire initial investment of $3.1 million. The Mountaintop stars Samuel L. Jackson as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and Angela Bassett, and is directed by Tony Award® nominee Kenny Leon (Stick Fly, Fences, A Raisin in the Sun).
