As BroadwayWorld has previously reported, Celebrity Autobiography made its UK debut at the renowned Edinburgh Fringe Festival from August 5 - 30 with a cast featuring Michael Urie, Caroline Rhea, Jennifer Coolidge, Mike McShane, James Lance, Phill Jupitus, Rufus Hound and George Wendt. Today, Whatsonstage.com reports that Michael Urie will transfer with the show for its London debut at the Leicester Square Theatre on October 4, 2010. The show will play through October 9, 2010 at the theater and then run continuously every Monday through January 10, 2011.

BroadwayWorld.com first reported back on August 20th that Ruthless! - The Musical may possibly be headed back to the stage in a new production, if a reading scheduled for September goes well as directed by Jason Moore and produced by Darren Bagert. A casting call had been issued for the lead role of the 'bad seed' child-showbiz terror - Tina. We've now learned that set for the reading are Betty Buckley as Sylvia St. Croix/Ruth DelMarco, Tovah Feldshuh as Lita Encore and Leslie Kritzer as Judy Denmark/Ginger Del Marco.

Former JERSEY BOYS star Erich Bergen is certainly one busy guy. In support of his first soon-to-be released solo CD The Vegas Sessions, Bergen will be debuting his new club act at The Magic Castle in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, September 15. On top of that, he is currently in rehearsals for the new musical VENICE, which is set to open October 7 at Center Theatre Group's Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City. Recently, Bergen chatted with BroadwayWorld's Michael Lawrence Quintos about the new album, his days on JERSEY BOYS, New York vs. L.A. theater, and the whereabouts of his Gossip Girl ascot.

Piano man Billy Joel has revealed to Access Hollywood that he has offered GLEE use of his hall of fame music catalog. Stage vets Neil Patrick Harris and Matthew Morrison performed Joel's 'Piano Man' last season on an episode in which Harris guest starred. Harris earend an Emmy nomination for his appearance.

Heather Morris, who plays 'Brittany' on the show, will be playing Britney Spears in a dream sequence with Ms. Spears herself, it is believed. Zaptoit.com has revealed of the episode that 'New Directions' pleas for Britney tunes fall on deaf ears with Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison), so when they pay respective visits to the dentist (John Stamos), anesthesia-induced fantasies bring out the musical numbers and the all-but-official Britney cameo.' GLEE creator Ryan Murphy recently hinted to Access Hollywood that this episode may not be Spear's last. A casting call has been issued for the lead role of the 'bad seed' of child-showbiz terror - Tina. As no other parts are available for casting and the week's scheduling workshop is scheduled to begin shortly, one wonders who might already be cast.
