CT Repertory Theatre to Present MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, 2/28-3/9

Storrs: Sinatra is on the radio, soldiers returning home from the Korean War, and a beautiful seaside estate sets the scene for Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare. Connecticut Repertory Theatre presents the comedy directed by Paul Mullins, onstage February 28- March 9 in the Nafe Katter Theater, Storrs. Sarah Wintermeyer stars as Beatrice and matches wits in this hilarious battle of the sexes with James Jelkin's Benedick.

Centenary Stage Partners with Folger Shakespeare Library to Connect with Area Schools

Assistant Professor of Theatre Arts at Centenary College, Stephen Davis, has long been a teacher and advocate of the works of master playwright and poet William Shakespeare. For over five years, Davis has married his love of the bard and his love for education to help foster an appreciation for Shakespeare in the youth of New Jersey through a program sponsored by The Folger Shakespeare Library entitled Shakesperience, which will be hosted by Centenary Stage Company (CSC) for the first time on Tuesday, April 29th on the campus of Centenary College.

Sam Harris to Headline Grand Opening of ilume Park with the Launch of His New Book, HAM: SLICES OF A LIFE

ilume Village is proud to announce the opening of ilume Park, a boutique, hotel-inspired community in the Oak Lawn/Cedar Springs neighborhood of Dallas, Texas. The grand opening celebration, starting at 7:00 pm on February 4, 2014, will feature stage, screen and television star Sam Harris launching his first book, 'Ham: Slices Of A Life,' a collection of short stories and essays about his journey through life.

Raucous Caucus IV: Box Wine Theatre's Annual 10-Minute Political Play Festival is to be presented at Bryant Lake Bowl throughout the month of January. Show dates/times include: Wednesdays January 8th and 15th as well as Todays January 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23rd at 7:00 p.m. with doors opening at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $12 or $10 with a 2011 Minnesota Fringe Festival button. 31 PLAYS Premieres at Bryant-Lake Bowl Theater Tonight

Playwright/actor Thomas Ward premieres his play 31 Plays at the Bryant-Lake Bowl Theater for a special engagement tonight, November 18 & 25. In August of 2013 Ward participated in the '31 Plays in 31 Days' challenge to write a new play everyday for the entire month. What began as a light-hearted creative challenge became a terrifying mid-life crisis as the author began to question every choice, credo, and circumstance of his life.
