This September, MISSED CONNECTIONS: A CRAIGSLIST MUSICAL will have its U.S. debut at the New Ohio Theatre (154 Christopher Street, NYC), opening tonight, September 15 and will run through September 25. The musical is directed by Phillip George (Forbidden Broadway), choreographed by Amy Hall Garner.

Joe Gulla's 'Sleeping With The Fish' will have its World Premiere at the Emerald Theatre Company's "Out of the Closet" Festival in Memphis, Tenn., on Friday, September 9th.

A new block of tickets has been added for this Saturday's performance of Joe Gulla's 'The Bronx Queen' at Joe's Pub. 'The Bronx Queen' was the recipient of this year's Downtown Urban Arts Festival (DUAF) 'Audience Award'. It is also the first chapter of Gulla's award-winning, 'Bronx Queen Trilogy'.

Joe Gulla's 'Sleeping With The Fish' will open the Village Playwrights's 'Gay Pride and Prejudice: LGBTQ Stories' this Wednesday, June 22 at the LGBT Community Center. These staged readings of short plays were curated in celebration of Gay Pride. Written by Gulla and directed by Brian Rardin, 'Sleeping With The Fish' stars Jason Nuzzo, Laura Daniel Koch and the playwright himself.

Hot on the heels of his win at the 2016 Downtown Urban Arts Festival (DUAF), playwright/actor Joe Gulla will return to Joe's Pub on August 20th with "The Bronx Queen" directed by Brian Rardin. The Downtown Urban Arts Festival (DUAF) has conferred playwright Joe Gulla's autobiographical work, "The Bronx Queen", with their 2016 Audience Award.  

'The Midnight Experience' will premiere at The Cutting Room in Midtown on May 7th. The wild rock 'n roll experience featuring aerialists and burlesque performers is now in previews at the Cutting Room on Saturday nights.

Presented in association with The Downtown Urban Arts Festival, Joe Gulla's "The Bronx Queen" directed by Brian Rardin, will play Joe's Pub at The Public Theater this March 8 at 7:30 pm.  

BroadwayWorld has just learned that film, television, and theatre actor Geoffrey Arend (MADAM SECRETARY on CBS) will be joining previously announced Stephanie J. Block and Sebastian Arcelus in Midtown Direct Rep's staged reading of THE IMPOSSIBILITY OF NOW, a new play written by Y York and directed by Will Pomerantz.  Broadway actress Marni Raab (The Phantom of the Opera) will read the stage directions. 

Midtown Direct Rep (MDR), kicks off its 2015-16 season at the South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC) with Theatre in the Loft, a series of staged readings of new plays and musicals. The Impossibility of Now, written by Y York and directed by Will Pomerantz, will be performed for one night only on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at 7pm at SOPAC (One Sopac Way, South Orange, NJ, 07079).  The reading is $15 and open to the public. The world's largest solo theatre festival concluded its season with an awards ceremony held on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Theatre Row in New York City. It was the closing night for a ten-week season of solo theatre and the fifth anniversary of the festival, a resident company at Theatre Row.

The fourth annual United Solo Theatre Festival concluded its run on November 24, 2013 at Theatre Row on 42nd Street in New York City. An awards ceremony was held that night, following the eight-week-long lineup of the world's largest solo theatre festival, which offered more than 120 productions this season.
