Beginning this month, a host of stars from the world of entertainment will light up the stages in twenty four towns and cities around the UK for this year's Qdos Entertainment pantomime season. From Aberdeen to Plymouth, over 60 well-known actors, comedians and entertainers will lead the casts of the nation's favourite pantomimes in theatres across the country including, for the first time in nearly three decades, a return to the capital's London Palladium.
It was announced today (10th December) that one of Britain's most celebrated comic-entertainers, BRIAN CONLEY, will embark on a 36-date UK tour with his brand-new variety show Alive and Dangerous in the New Year. Starting on the 4th February and running up until the 8th April, BRIAN will perform brand-new comedy, sketches and songs, alongside some of his best-known and loved retrospective material from the screen and onstage in the finest theatres around the country.

On Thursday 3 September, Wolverhampton Grand Theatre officially launched their swashbuckling pantomime, PETER PAN. Produced by Qdos Entertainment, the world's biggest pantomime producer, this year's Christmas show will star The Chuckle Brothers as Paul & Barry Smee, John Altman as Captain Hook, and also flying in for the launch was Ross Carpenter in the role of Peter Pan.

Cameron Macintosh and Chichester Festival Theatre's production of Barnum debuted at the Curve Theatre, Leicester last night before embarking on a National Tour. The show was seen by nearly 70,000 people during its run in Chichester last year and was critically acclaimed by many throughout its time there. Way prior to this, the production opened on Broadway back in 1980 where it picked up three Tony Awards and a Drama Desk Award. Following this, Barnum opened in the West End in 1981 starring Michael Crawford; a role which he won an Olivier for.
