The Marvelous Wonderettes are back! The long-running Off-Broadway hit musical celebrated its opening night at New York's Theatre Row last night, April 28th. The show, featuring such classic fifties and sixties hits as 'Lollipop,' 'Dream Lover,' 'Stupid Cupid,' 'Son of a Preacher Man,' 'Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me,' and 'It's My Party,' stars Christina Bianco as Missy, Kathy Brier as Suzy, Jenna Leigh Green as Cindy Lou, and Sally Schwab as Betty Jean. Wagner College Theatre will present the Class of 2014's Senior Showcase on Monday March 31. The Showcase will be held at the Pershing Square Signature Theater from 6:30-7:30pm with a reception to follow. This event is for theater industry professionals and is not open to the public.
Wagner College Theatre Stage One presents the NY area premiere of My Soldiers, written and directed by Richard Kalinoski, a 2003 Stanley Drama Award winner (Skin of a Lawyer) who's currently an artist-in-residence in the Theater Department. Performances are March 4 through 9, 2014 at Stage One.

'Romeo & Juliet,' Shakespeare's popular romantic tragedy of two star-crossed lovers, opens on the Wagner College Theatre's Main Stage on Nov. 13 for a two-week run. It's a timeless story of young passions caught between the feuding Capulet and Montague families.
