The drama, the intrigue, a castle, stunning period wardrobes and more greeted CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD correspondent Martha Teichner as part of the first U.S. TV network news broadcast ever to be allowed behind the scenes for filming of the third season of the international television hit "Downton Abbey."

Last week, DOWNTON ABBEY actor Dan Stevens announced that he may not return for the highly-acclaimed series' four season. Today, show creator Julian Fellowes told Entertainment Weekly that he's prepared to write Matthew Crawley (Stevens), off of ABBEY.

A production source told the UK's Sunday Express yesterday that Dan Stevens, currently starring opposite Jessica Chastain in Broadway's 'The Heiress,' will not be returning for the fourth season of the ITV series DOWNTON ABBEY. The show's third season will premiere on PBS beginning January 16th in the US.
