Rob Campbell Joins ALL THE WAY on Broadway as 'Governor George Wallace'

Producers Jeffrey Richards, Jerry Frankel and Louise Gund just announced that Rob Campbell, who was most recently seen in The Patron Saint of Sea Monsters at Playwrights Horizons, will play the role of Governor George Wallace in the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and American Repertory Theater production of ALL THE WAY by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan. Campbell joins previously announced three-time Emmy Award-winning actor Bryan Cranston ('Breaking Bad') as Lyndon B. Johnson, Michael McKean as J. Edgar Hoover and Brandon J. Dirden as Martin Luther King, Jr. Additional casting will be announced soon.

ALL THE WAY, Starring BREAKING BAD's Bryan Cranston, to Open at Neil Simon Theatre on 3/6; Previews Begin 2/10

Producers Jeffrey Richards, Jerry Frankel and Louise Gund are pleased to announce that the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and American Repertory Theater production of ALL THE WAY, Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan's new play that stars three-time Emmy Award-winning actor Bryan Cranston ('Breaking Bad') as President Lyndon B. Johnson, will play The Neil Simon Theatre (250 West 52nd Street) for a limited run only. The play will begin rehearsals on Tuesday, January 14, 2014, with previews beginning Monday, February 10, 2014 and an opening night set for Thursday, March 6, 2014. It is directed by Bill Rauch, Artistic Director of Oregon Shakespeare Festival.

Signature Theatre presents the New York Premiere of August Wilson's How I Learned What I Learned, co-conceived with and directed by Todd Kreidler, in collaboration with and featuring Tony Award-winner Ruben Santiago-Hudson. The show opened last night, November 24 in The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues), and BroadwayWorld brings you photos from the big opening below!

ALL THE WAY Starring BREAKING BAD's Bryan Cranston Headed to Broadway in January of 2014?

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the A.R.T.'s sold-out production of ALL THE WAY, written by Pulitzer-Prize winning playwright Robert Schenkkan and directed by Bill Rauch, has been eying a transfer to Broadway, and it will arrive in January, according to an Equity casting notice. Rehearsals are set to begin in December, with an open-ended run beginning in January 2014.

A.R.T.'s ALL THE WAY, Starring Bryan Cranston, Closes in Cambridge; Looks to Broadway!

A.R.T. at Harvard University's sold-out production of ALL THE WAY, written by Pulitzer-Prize winning playwright Robert Schenkkan and directed by Bill Rauch, stars Bryan Cranston (AMC's 'Breaking Bad') as Lyndon Baines Johnson. The show ends its run today, October 12 in Cambridge. Next, it will open on Broadway, with star Cranston moving with the show this winter. No official dates have been set, so stay tuned for updates.
