Nosferatu- Tonight at 8 p.m. $7.00 Adults, $5.00 Students/Seniors
This German expressionist horror film, shot in 1921 and released in 1922, was in essence an unauthorized adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula, with names and other details changed because the studio could not obtain the rights to the novel (for instance, 'vampire' became 'Nosferatu' and 'Count Dracula' became 'Count Orlok').

Playmaker's DRACULA: The Musical? Plays Through Halloween
by Gabrielle Sierra
- Oct 22, 2009
Don't take the upcoming Playmaker production about Dracula too seriously. The vampire in 'Dracula: the Musical?' is bumbling and inept, more like The Count in the films 'Love at First Bite' or 'Dracula: Dead and Loving It.'
