Segerstrom Center for the Arts is rolling out plans for its 30th Season, beginning with the 2015 - 2016 Broadway line-up. After two cancelations, and a lot of cold weather, The Penn High School Theater Department finally opened their 2015 Spring Musical, '42nd Street' on Saturday February 21st. Even with the diversity and challenges faced during the week, this cast brought it all and gave one of the best performances I've ever seen at a high school level. Sitting in the audience, I got chills as I saw each and every performer on stage give it their all and perform the best show they could.

In watching 42nd Street at Creative Ministries Performing Arts Center (CM PAC), I couldn't help noticing that it seems the utmost important piece of this show is for the cast, wherever it may be running, be beyond top notch. There is no room for a weak link or it could come off really badly. Indeed, the cast of this Patrick Grossman directed incarnation is fantastic and delivers an energetic show.
This show was wonderfully executed and hit the ground tapping. This featured some fierce talents in tap and I sat there amazed at several of the numbers.

Bloomington Theatre and Art Center (BTAC) today announced the tap dancing musical 42nd Street. This Bloomington Civic Theatre (BCT) production will run August 17 - September 16, 2012. 42nd Street will be directed and choreographed by Michael Matthew Ferrell, with music direction by Anita Ruth. The cast of 24 includes Larissa Gritti as 'Peggy', C. Ryan Shipley as 'Billy', Michael Fischetti as 'Julian Marsh', and Bonnie Erickson as 'Dorothy Brock'.
