Welk Resorts Theatre today announced its 2019 season kicks off March 15 with San Diego theatre royalty starring in 'Menopause the Musical.' The 29th season of the famed Welk Theatre, which underwent a lobby remodel in 2018, also features Tony Award-nominated 'The Addams Family,' which will run Sept. 6 to Nov. 10, and Larry Raben's new 'Welkome Home for the Holidays!' running Nov. 22 to Dec. 29.  Weekly variety shows featuring popular classic rock tribute bands (The Eagles, Beatles and Neil Diamond) round out the season.

Lion Heart Productions Escanaba in da Moonlight is a tale that director, Mike Gesler has been waiting a long time to present at Lion Heart as a director, and the timing just fell into place for this season. It is a show full of comedic moments that will have you laughing in your seats. Escanaba in da Moonlight is currently running until March 24 at the Dogwood Center for the Performing Arts in Fremont. Shows are March 23rd at 2pm, March 23rd at 7:30pm, and March 24th at 2PM.

The 8 Nights of EIGHT NIGHTS series will occur on at least 8 different nights in at least 8 different cities, to raise funds and awareness for HIAS in the wake of the Tree of Life shooting in Pittsburgh.

Just last night, the cast and creative team of Kinky Boots had something to say 'yeah' about! Smithsonian Institution representatives, Abbe Raven and Anthea M. BIG APPLE CIRCUS announces that real-life wonder women will take the reins of the 41st season, led by new ringmaster Stephanie Monseu, for their annual Boston-area appearance, playing this spring at Northshore Mall, Peabody. Ted Bundy and his horrifying killing spree in the 1970s have captured the nation's attention for decades. On the heels of the 30th anniversary of Bundy's execution, a two-hour “20/20” event provides new insight into Bundy's vicious past and crimes. He admitted to murdering at least 30 women and girls, many of whom he kidnapped and sexually assaulted. Authorities believe he may have been responsible for as many as 100 homicides. The prime-time documentary features new interviews with key players, including surviving victims and those who were vital in helping place Bundy behind bars. “20/20” airs Friday, Feb. 15 (9:00 – 11:00 p.m. EST), on ABC.
