The Tony Awards Administration Committee has announced this year's recipients of 2015 Tony Honors for Excellence in the Theatre. These honors will be presented at the Tony Honors Cocktail Party, a private cocktail reception, on Monday, June 1st at the Paramount Hotel's Diamond Horseshoe. The 2015 Tony Awards will be broadcast live on Sunday, June 7th on CBS, and are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.
Now according to the New York Post, similar drama is going down at Broadway's Honeymoon in Vegas. Michael Riedel revealed that Miramontez's O&M will soon take over tor the musical, which has been recently struggling at the box office, after press firm Boneau/Bryan-Brown resigned from the project. He writes: 'It didn't take Miramontez long to recover from Harvey's lashing. This week he joined 'Honeymoon in Vegas' after the veteran p.r. firm Boneau/Bryan-Brown resigned.'

The gala will take place on Monday, May 12 at The Grand Ballroom of The Plaza Hotel, beginning at 6:30pm.
Matt Ross Public Relations - a new agency dedicated to creating and executing focused, impactful publicity campaigns for theatre productions and entities in New York and beyond - will open its doors for business on Monday, January 6, 2014. The agency will consist of founder Matt Ross and associate Nicole Capatasto, both formerly of The Hartman Group. Clients will include Murder For Two; Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812; the upcoming Broadway revival of On The Town; and Maxolev Productions (Howard & Janet Kagan); with additional projects to be announced in the near future.
Broadway PR firm Polk & Co.'s founder and president, Matt Polk, has just announced that Tom D'Ambrosio, Wayne Wolfe, Frances White and Colgan McNeil will be joining the public relations, media strategies and social media firm. Boneau/Bryan-Brown, the theatrical public relations firm led by Chris Boneau and Adrian Bryan-Brown, has announced the promotion of Aaron Meier and Heath Schwartz to Vice President, Account Services. They join VPs Jim Byk, Jackie Green, Joe Perrotta and Susanne Tighe at BBB in representing the office's roster of Broadway, off-Broadway, institutional theatre and the recently established media training division. Meier joined BBB in 2001 and serves as BBB's Director of Online Editorial Development as well as handling the press campaigns for Manhattan Theatre Club, I'll Eat You Last, and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Schwartz joined BBB in 2004 and handles press for The Heiress, Jersey Boys, Pippin, Nice Work if You Can Get It, and Signature Theatre.

Cast members of Follies turned out yesterday as Serendipity 3 (225 E 60th Street btwn. 2nd and 3rd) revealed a special Follies sundae. The 'Live, Laugh, Love Sundae' will be on sale at the popular midtown restaurant through the end of October. The sundae is a 'Big Apple Pie' with cinnamon ice cream, caramel sauce, topped with whipped cream, red heart candy, large pink whimsical hearts and a twisted swirl lollipop on top. SPIDER-MAN has made headlines again. The New York Times reports that press agent Adrian Bryan-Brown of Boneau/Bryan-Brown has cut ties with Broadway's upcoming SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK. Bryan-Brown's Thursday statement noted that he 'made the personal decision to resign this week,' and looked forward to seeing the production on Broadway. He has been working on the show for the past three years. The lead producer of the show, Michael Cohl, has accepted the resignation and appointed Rick Miramontez, president of firm O&M, to head future press for SPIDER-MAN.
