HBO received 27 Primetime Emmy(R) Awards, the most of any network for the 12th year in a row, in the 65th Annual Primetime Emmy(R) Awards competition.

The 65th Primetime Emmy Awards, hosted by Broadway favorite and HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER star Neil Patrick Harris, aired on CBS and featured songs, dancing, and a number of your Broadway favorites.

Broadway veteran and BOARDWALK EMPIRE star Bobby Cannavale took home this year's Emmy for OUTSTANDING SUPPORTING ACTOR IN A DRAMA SERIES.

Cannavale beat out Jonathan Banks on Breaking Bad, Jim Carter on Downton Abbey, Peter Dinklage on Game of Thrones, Mandy Patinkin on Homeland and Aaron Paul on Breaking Bad.

The 65th Primetime Emmy Awards, hosted by HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER's Neil Patrick Harris, is telecast live coast-to-coast tonight, September 22nd (8 PM ET/5 PM PT) on CBS from the NOKIA Theater L.A. Deadline.com reports that Bobby Cannavale will be joining the new ANNIE film remake, alongside Quvenzhane Wallis, Jamie Foxx, Cameron Diaz and Rose Byrne. Cannavale will play a political advisor for Foxx's character, who is running for mayor of New York.
