IYF Productions is proud to bring Boogie Stomp! to Times Square this fall.  Written by John Campana and starring pianists extraordinaire, Bob Baldori and Arthur Migliazza, Boogie Stomp! will begin its limited run on September 25 and will open on Friday, October 16 and run through November 28, 2015 at Times Square's Elektra Theatre (300 W 43rd Street, 2nd Floor). Marc Palmieri has a reputation for writing heartfelt and unsettling plays. Time Out New York writes, 'When Palmieri lets his imagination cut loose, the results can be evocative.' In a Critic's Pick review of Levittown, Palmieri's compelling depiction of the small and quiet dramas of American family life, The New York Times declared, 'you won't stop watching for a second.' Now, Axis Company presents the world premiere of Palmieri's latest play The Groundling, February 11 - March 8, 2015.

On November 8th, they kick off their tour of Southwestern cities including Boulder, Denver, Albuquerque, Sedona, Tempe, Tucson, and Julian, CA; they'll be joined by the Finzer Mahoney Duo for the dates in New Mexico and Arizona.

Axis Company has announced its 2014-15 season, which will feature a number of world premieres, as well as the return of its beloved family holiday show Seven In One Blow, or The Brave Little Kid. The season begins with the world premiere of Axis Company Artist Director Randy Sharp's new musical Triangle Fire, part of the second annual Theater:Village festival, which is co-presented by Cherry Lane Theatre, New Ohio Theatre and Rattlestick Playwrights Theater. Entitled E Pluribus, the festival will feature four new plays celebrating the diversity of America, running from September 3-October 5.

Keyboard hurricane Bob Malone and composer/lyricist/comedienne Amy 'Bob' Engelhardt return to the Duplex with a brand new edition of TWO BOBS, NO WAITING on April 12. Their hilarious, high-energy evening of songs and stories from all over the map (which, between them, they have certainly covered) garnered three 2012 BroadwayWorld.com New York Cabaret Award nominations.

After receiving more than 3,000 nominations once BroadwayWorld.com announced it's first-ever New York Cabaret Awards in early October, BWW is now pleased to announce it's final nominations ballot in 20 categories. Now it's time for all you cabaret performers and fans to vote for the best singers, musicians and shows of the year. Voting will continue until December 31 and winners will be announced in early January.

One of the best of the recent dynamic duos to hit the New York cabaret scene may be the songwriting/performing team of Mary Liz McNamara and Ritt Henn, who recently brought their cheeky and charming show Take That! back to The Duplex after debuting last November.

The Groundling, a new comedy about a man struggling to save his marriage, will have a staged reading March 19 at 7:30 p.m. as part of South Coast Repertory's NewSCRipts series. It is the 117th play to receive a staged reading in SCR's venerable play reading program.
