Singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Dylan Gardner will play a series of acoustic solo shows in Los Angeles on Record Store Day, April 16th.

COSTA MESA, CA – Segerstrom Center for the Arts welcomes the return of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in an exclusive Southern California engagement April 6 – 10, 2016. The program includes eight works never before seen at the Center, four Southern California premieres and new productions of Ailey classics. Kino Kimino is the brainchild of Kim Talon, who landed in New York City from Manitoba, headed across the river to Hoboken and plugged in with Lee Ranaldo and Steve Shelley of Sonic Youth to throw down the ten sweetly serrated, sometimes volatile, post-punk songs on debut album Bait Is for Sissies

Following the announcement last month of THE LAST WALTZ REVISITED shows at the Sydney Opera House, there's been lots of online chatter about which songs will be performed by which members of the cast when they revisit one of the most significant rock and roll events in music history on 1 and 2 April.

The story and music of America's Composer come to life on stage when The Town Hall presents HERSHEY FELDER AS IRVING BERLIN, a new play with music written and performed by award-winning actor and musician Hershey Felder (Broadway's George Gershwin Alone, Maestro Bernstein). Zmei3 (pronounced zmay-tray) is made up of Romanian immigrants whose beautiful and heartfelt music rises from the harsh realities and struggles of a post-Communist rule.  Their debut album Rough Romanian Soul (out April 22 on Six Degrees Records) is produced by GRAMMY award-winner, Ian Brennan, best known for his work with Tinariwen, Zomba Prison Project, Ramblin' Jack Elliott, and the Malawi Mouse Boys. 

Somewhere Between - Cidny Williams' "one wo/man show" opens at Nashville's Bongo After Hours Theatre on March 18. Produced by Ken Bernstein, the Grammy-nominated musician's autobiographical show lifts the veil on love, death and gender through storytelling and song.

Continuing to break all box office records during its National Tour, the smash hit Hershey Felder as Irving Berlin is returning to Chicago for a limited, four-week engagement starting Thursday, April 7, 2016 in Felder's Chicago theatrical home, the Royal George Theatre, 1641 N. Halsted Street, Chicago. The show will run through Sunday, May 8, 2016 with a press opening on Sunday, April 10 at 2:00 p.m. The Chicago presentation will immediately be followed by a special One-Night-Only New York Presentation at The Town Hall on June 6, 2016, broadcast internationally by the WFMT Radio Network with the entire Berlin family in attendance.

Sony Corporation ('Sony') and the Estate of Michael Jackson ('the Estate') announced today that Sony Corporation of America ('SCA'), Sony's wholly owned subsidiary, signed a binding memorandum of understanding ('MOU') with the Estate to obtain full ownership of Sony/ATV Music Publishing LLC ('Sony/ATV') by acquiring the 50% interest in Sony/ATV held by the Estate.
