Kristin Scott Thomas plays the Queen in a new and updated version of Peter Morgan's The Audience.  Stephen Daldry's production is now in previews at the Apollo Theatre, with press night on 5 May 2015 and is booking to 25 July 2015. The Audience has designs by Bob Crowley, with lighting by Rick Fisher, sound by Paul Arditti and music by Paul Englishby. A dance legend talks AN AMERICAN IN PARIS with its director/choreographer!

David Mirvish is extending for the final time the Toronto production of the Tony Award-winning 'Best Musical' ONCE. The production, which began performances at the Ed Mirvish Theatre on February 10, 2015, will now play until June 28. But the show must leave the Ed Mirvish Theatre on that day because Disney's production of NEWSIES moves into the venue the following week.

ONCE, winner of eight Tony Awards including Best Musical and winner of the 2013 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, will play the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts for a limited engagement from December 1 - 6. The Outer Critics Circle, the organization of writers covering New York theatre for out-of-town newspapers, national publications and other media beyond Broadway announced the nominees this morning for the 2014-15 season. The first major Broadway/Off-Broadway award nominees of the New York theater season, the organization is celebrating its 64th season of bestowing awards of excellence in the field of theater. The Outer Critics Circle is an association with members affiliated with more than ninety newspapers, magazines, radio and television stations, Internet, and theatre publications in America and abroad.

Houston Grand Opera (HGO) will present performances of Mozart's The Magic Flute at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands on Friday, May 15, at 8 p.m. and at Miller Outdoor Theatre on Friday, May 22, and Saturday, May 23, at 8 p.m. The Magic Flute matches a comic yet wise fairy tale with some of the most stunningly beautiful music ever written. The new Broadway musical An American in Paris is now in previews and just opened last night, April 12, 2015 at the Palace Theatre (Broadway at 47th Street). An American In Paris is directed and choreographed by Christopher Wheeldon. Inspired by the Academy-Award winning film, An American In Paris brings this classic tale to Broadway for the first time with music and lyrics by George Gershwinand Ira Gershwin and a book by Tony nominee and Pulitzer Prize finalist Craig Lucas.
