The Cincinnati premiere of MARY POPPINS opens tonight, Friday, April 9 at 8:00 p.m. at the Aronoff Center for a limited engagement of 3 weeks through Sunday, April 25, 2010. MARY POPPINS plays Tuesday through Friday evenings at 8:00 p.m., Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. and Sunday at 1:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Great seats still available for most performances.

The New York Times has confirmed that LOVE NEVER DIES will now aim for a spring opening on Broadway due to Andrew Lloyd Webber's health problems. LOVE NEVER DIES was scheduled to open on Broadway on November 11, 2010. Reportedly, Webber is experiencing 'post-operative problems' from his recent treatment for prostate cancer, a rep for the production told the New York Times today. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, speculation of a delay began weeks ago following the tally of mixed reviews for the production, which opened at the Adelphi Theatre in the West End on March 9.

In a new German TV interview with the composer, Andrew Lloyd Webber cites both his health (he beat prostate cancer last year) and his new London production of The Wizard of Oz as potentially forcing the show to be delayed to 'January or February or maybe even later in the Spring.' He says that nothing has been decided yet and it all will come down to his health and the number of the hours in the day.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the cast album for LOVE NEVER DIES premiered on the UK National charts at Number 10, the production announced today. Of those international markets where the album has been released it has also charted well, such as in Greece (Number 1), Taiwan (Number 14), New Zealand (Number 8) and Denmark (Number 15). Today, Billboard reports that the LOVE NEVER DIES album is the Number 1 selling cast album of the week, beating out staples Wicked and Jersey Boys in the top spot.

Legendary costume designer ALBERT WOLSKY and world renowned scenic designer MING CHO LEE are among the 2010 TDF/Irene Sharaff Awards recipients. The awards will be presented at a ceremony on Friday, April 23 at 6:30pm at the Hudson Theatre (145 West 44th Street). Two-time Academy Award-winner Albert Wolsky will receive the 2010 TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award for costume design, and Tony Award-winning scenic designer and educator Ming Cho Lee will receive the TDF/Irene Sharaff Robert L.B.
