The 2017 SaraSolo Festival, the third annual celebration of theatre and solo artists returns to Sarasota over two weekends, January 28 & 29 and February 4 & 5, 2017. Its fifth season takes place tomorrow, September 18 - November 23, 2014 and features 130 productions from around the world in categories including drama, comedy, stand-up, mime, improv, musical, and many more.
Ann Morrison (Artistic Director), David A. Coyle (Managing Director), and Blake Walton (Associate Artistic Director) have recently incorporated the nonprofit Gotta Van Productions, Inc., which was initially created to produce solo plays by Morrison and Walton in both Sarasota and New York City. Its mission was expanded when Coyle joined the team as Managing Director, to include the development, production, and presentation of solo works and new small-cast plays by other artists.
