Written by critically acclaimed UK author John Livings, At Last: The Etta James Story premiered at Melbourne's Athenaeum Theatre on 19 February 2013 (just over a year after Etta James' death in January 2012), and enjoyed a sell-out Sydney season in May. The show will play at the Her Majesty's Theatre Adelaide, for three performances today and tomorrow, 2 and 3 August 2013 following a season in Brisbane. Tickets will go on sale for the new musical Lady Day about Billie Holiday, starring Tony and multiple Grammy Award-winner Dee Dee Bridgewater on Friday, August 9th at 12noon at the Little Shubert Theatre (422 West 42nd Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues) .
