Up next for The New Group is the new musical The Kid, beginning performances on Friday, April 16. Official Opening Night is set for Monday, May 10. This marks the final production in The New Group's current 2009-2010 season, which featured Kenneth Lonergan's The Starry Messenger and most recently, the hit revival of Sam Shepard's A Lie of the Mind, directed by Ethan Hawke.

TV Guide Network today announced that it has teamed-up with Larry David (Co-Creator, 'Seinfeld'), renowned creator and star of the highly acclaimed HBO comedy series 'Curb Your Enthusiasm,' to launch exclusive, never-before-seen extras that will air in conjunction with the series run on the network starting this summer. 'Curb Your Enthusiasm: The Discussion' will be hosted by comedienne and series regular Susie Essman (Susie Greene) and will feature a panel of high profile guest stars, media pundits and prominent social figures who will debate moral implications featured in each episode. 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' will make its basic cable debut on TV Guide Network on Wednesday, June 2 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Beloved playwright A.R. Gurney, a Connecticut resident and author of the plays The Cocktail Hour, The Dining Room and Love Letters, returns to Long Wharf Theatre with his hit comedy Sylvia.

The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) announced today that Daytime Emmy® award-winning talk show host and comedian Joy Behar will receive the Excellence in Media Award at the 21st Annual GLAAD Media Awards Presented in New York by IBM and Prudential on March 13, 2010 at the Marriott Marquis.

Based on the book by Dan Savage entitled The Kid: What Happened After My Boyfriend and I Decided to Go Get Pregnant, the new musical The Kid features music by Andy Monroe, book by Michael Zam and lyrics by Jack Lechner. Today it has been announced that the first preview has moved from April 10 to Friday, April 16. Official Opening is now Monday, May 10 at 7:00 (moved from May 6, announced previously). Final performance is May 29.
