MUSIC legend Tommy Steele comes to Canterbury in the new year when he stars in The Glen Miller Story.

Produced by Bill Kenwright, directed by Martin Connor, choreographed by Olivier Award winner Bill Deamer, musical direction by David Steadman, this wonderfully lavish staging of the classic musical coincides with the 50th anniversary of the film version - the most successful movie musical in history.

Following a triumphant 11 week tour which opened in August 2015, spectacular show The Glenn Miller Story extends into 2016, opening in Peterborough on Tuesday 29 December. This extraordinary tale of America's most famous big band leader stars music legend Tommy Steele.

Eliot's Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats is bought to life in the revival of the all singing, all dancing, feline feast.  With new orchestrations and staging, this latest production gives new life to the iconic work that debuted in London's West End over 3 decades ago.

One of the greatest musicals of all time, The Sound of Music, returns to the stage in a magnificent new production, which opened at New Wimbledon Theatre on Monday 30 March and will run until Saturday 11 April. According to an Equity casting notice, Tony winner Christopher Gattelli is set to helm an upcoming NYC developmental lab of Top Hat. This version of the show features the classic music and lyrics of Irving Berlin and a new book by Chad Beguelin. The lab is set to be held May 18 through June 19.

Top Hat - winner of three Olivier Awards, for 'Best New Musical', 'Best Choreography', 'Best Costume Design' from its seven nominations - is enjoying an epic 47-week UK tour, visiting 24 theatres nationwide. From Tuesday 2 December Top Hat will be Puttin' on the Ritz at the Theatre Royal Glasgow.

The production previously held a lab in NYC in March of this year.
