A CHRISTMAS CAROL Runs 11/26-12/21 at Clarence Brown Theatre Mainstage

Ebeneezer Scrooge and the memorable ghosts return in the Clarence Brown Theatre's long-running and most popular production. A magical tradition for the whole family and a great way to celebrate the season, "A Christmas Carol," Dickens' timeless classic, runs November 26 through December 21 on the mainstage with 7:30 pm and 2:00 pm performances.

Clarence Brown Theatre Presents HANK WILLIAMS: LOST HIGHWAY, Now thru 9/28

As a singer and songwriter, Hank Williams changed the face of not only country music, but music in general, forever. From today, September 4, through the 28th, the Clarence Brown Theatre will stage the biographical retelling of his life in Hank Williams: Lost Highway.

Clarence Brown Theatre to Present HANK WILLIAMS: LOST HIGHWAY, 9/4-28

As a singer and songwriter, Hank Williams changed the face of not only country music, but music in general, forever. From September 4- 28, the Clarence Brown Theatre will stage the biographical retelling of his life in Hank Williams: Lost Highway. Rolling Stone called the show, "Exhilarating! A rare achievement in musical theater!" And, the NY Post called Lost Highway, "the best example of a musician's bio put on stage I've ever seen!" UT Medical Center is the corporate sponsor for the production with additional support from the City of Knoxville. Media sponsors are WUOT, WUTK and the Knoxville News Sentinel.

Cincinnati Playhouse to Present PRIDE AND PREJUDICE, 3/8-4/5

Romance is in the air at the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park as Jane Austen's masterpiece PRIDE AND PREJUDICE, adapted for the stage by Joseph Hanreddy and J.R. Sullivan, comes to life on the Robert S. Marx Theatre stage March 8 to April 5.

Elvis Presley's Graceland & City of Memphis Gear Up for 60th Anniversary of Rock 'N' Roll

As thousands of fans gather for Elvis Week and prepare for the annual Candlelight Vigil at Graceland this evening, Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. (EPE) is announcing plans and debuting artwork today for a yearlong celebration to commemorate Elvis' first professional recording, considered by many music historians to be the birth of the rock 'n' roll music movement. Joining EPE's CEO Jack Soden for the announcement will be Kevin Kane, President of the Memphis Convention and Visitors Bureau and Jayne Ellen Brooks from Sun Studio.

Elvis is Water is a vibrant musical exploration of the birth of rock and roll, and a quest to understand the power of one man's song, told and sung through the prism of the heady early days at Sun Records in Memphis. In a show written by Katherine Sandford and directed by Jackson Andrews, lead singer John Burnsand his band - Joe Hawkins (electric guitar), Denis Drouin (stand-up bass) and Deb Thomson (keyboard)- bring to life the music that changed it all. Elvis is Water is a story and a performance you'll never forget.
