On May 7th, Ailey returned to Harlem's world-famous Apollo Theater for a one-night-only event which featured performances by the world-renowned Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, rising stars of Ailey II, gifted young dancers from The Ailey School, and talented students from AileyCamp Washington Heights and Newark. Bravo Greenlights 17 New Unscripted Series, Announces Returning Favorites

Bravo Media unveiled its largest slate of original programming-to-date with 17 new and 18 returning unscripted series, marking a 15 percent increase over last year, and announced three new scripted projects in development. Additionally, Bravo ranks #9 in the highly desired A18-49 demo and in A25-54, up 5 percent and 7 percent respectively, and up 8 percent in total viewers year-to-date, according to Nielsen.

Bravo Media gives late night a makeover with 'Fashion Queens,' a new limited series airing three consecutive Sunday nights at 11:30pm ET/PT, beginning March 17, immediately following 'Watch What Happens Live.' This topical, fashion-based talk show features two of Atlanta's style elite, celebrity hairstylists Derek J and Miss Lawrence, and New York's fashion maven and media socialite Bevy Smith. The trendy opinionated trio will cover anything and everything related to the world of fashion, from haute couture to celebrity style to unusual outfits from around the globe, giving their unique perspective on the trends, hits and misses.

The New York Public Library (NYPL) and Souleo Enterprises LLC, an event/media production company, have formed a partnership to provide adult library patrons with an exciting line-up of artistic/cultural, LGBT and financial literacy summer programming, beginning June 2012. Highlighting the evolving role of libraries as educational culture hubs, programming includes improv performances by the National Comedy Theater; make-up makeovers by NYC's top drag queens such as Hedda Lettuce; a panel on LGBT hip-hop; celebrity impersonators discussing diva worship; music industry veterans Meli'sa Morgan, Full Force and Christopher "Play" Martin discussing overcoming financial struggles; a master class in career reinvention by George C.
