The one-night-only concert event took place at Glendale's historic Alex Theatre yesterday, February 12, 2017 at 7:00 PM with original cast members Frieda Payne and Robert Hooks in attendance. The show runs this weekend, February 11-13, 2017 as part of 92Y's Lyrics & Lyricists series.

After recently making her solo debut in "Something Beautiful" in The Appel Room, Jazz at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall, singer and actress, CORINNA SOWERS ADLER returns to the Metropolitan Room, 34 West 22nd Street, on Sunday, February 19 at 6pm to create a Live Recording of her highly acclaimed show 'High Standards'. The show is musically directed by legendary musical arranger, Alex Rybeck and will feature Mr. Rybeck on piano. The show is a musical journey through some of the best music ever written, reimagined by Mr. Rybeck including songs by Meredith Wilson, Leonard Bernstein/Betty Comden & Adolf Green, Leslie Bricusse/Cyril Ornatel, John Lennon and Joni Mitchell, to name a few.

Palo Alto Players, the Peninsula's first theatre company, announces its 87th season - "The World Turned Upside Down" - featuring the Bay Area regional premiere of the Tony-nominated musical MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET. 

In March, a luxury train rolls into Old Town bringing nonstop laughter and mayhem. The madcap musical comedy, On the Twentieth Century, features the writing talents of Betty Comden and Adolph Greene. Original music was composed byCy Coleman, who was honored with Tony Awards for Best Original Score & Best Book (1978). This musical comedy team lent their unique comic genius and sophisticated wit to dozens of Broadway hits including On the Town and Bells are Ringing. On the Twentieth Century will be directed by Sean Murray. The production runs March 9 through April 30. Opening night for media is March 18.

Lyrics & Lyricists 2017 season opens with 'Get Happy: Harold Arlen's Early Years,' celebrating the composer of those American Songbook classics, and hundreds more. The show will run January 21-23, 2017 at 92Y.
