Broadway Across America-Milwaukee, the Marcus Center as part of the Time Warner Cable Broadway at the Marcus Center Series and producers Thomas Schumacher of Disney Theatrical Productions and Cameron Mackintosh announced today that tickets for the long-awaited production of MARY POPPINS will go on sale to the public on Sunday, December 4 at 12:00 p.m. Milwaukee's most eagerly awaited stage production will begin performances at the Marcus Center on Tuesday, February 28 for a limited engagement of one week through Sunday, March 4.

The producers of the 50th Anniversary production of the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical comedy HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING announced today that star of stage and television, Michael Urie ("Ugly Betty," The Temperamentals) will make his Broadway debut as Bud Frump, beginning Tuesday, January 24, 2012, for 6 months through Sunday, July 1, 2012. Urie will co-star with Nick Jonas and Beau Bridges. Urie replaces Christopher J. Hanke, who will play his last performance on Sunday, January 22, 2012 alongside Darren Criss. Utah's Pioneer Theatre Awarded NEA Grant

The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Chairman Rocco Landesman today announced that the agency will award 863 grants to organizations and individual writers across the country. Pioneer Theatre Company is one of the grantees and will receive $10,000 to support developmental workshops of two commissioned shows under the auspices of its New Plays Initiative. The 863 grant awards total $22.543 million, encompass 15 artistic disciplines and fields, and support projects in 47 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.

Talks about the possible revival are in the earliest phases and no readings or workshops have been planned.
