Jobsite Theater, resident theater company of Tampa's Straz Center (was Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center) is touring their award-winning Pericles: Prince of Tires in a showcase format to New York's HERE. Pericles: Prince of Tires is a comic rock mob musical based on William Shakespeare's Pericles, Prince of Tyre. Joe Popp (dogs on ice, The Hornrims; MAXWELL) has paired his power-punk music and oddball sense of humor with the estimable talents of perennial Jobsite wordsmiths Neil Gobioff & Shawn Paonessa (The Curse of Milhaven, The March of the Kitefliers) to create an ass-kicking good time. Pericles runs for a limited engagement April 15-17, 2010, at HERE.

Following two sold-out shows at Zipper Factory in January 2009 and four nights of packed houses at Joe's Pub in May 2009, FUTURITY returns for three workshop presentations at HERE Arts Center, April 15th at 7 pm and April 16th at 7 pm and 11 pm, as part of Motherlodge Live Arts Exchange and the 7th Ave South Festival.

Vampire Cowboys Theatre Company presents the world premiere production of 'ALICE IN SLASHERLAND,' written by Qui Nguyen and directed by Robert Ross Parker, with fight choreography by Mr. Nguyen. Performances began March 18 at HERE (www.here.org), 145 Sixth Avenue (between Spring and Broome Streets, enter on Dominick Street). 'ALICE IN SLASHERLAND' officially opened on Sunday, March 21 at 8:30 p.m. Performances conclude Saturday, April 10.
