'Queen of the Beatniks: The Songs of Judy Henske' moves downtown! After two smash performances at The Cutting Room, the Queen of the Beatniks is back, this time at NYC's premiere downtown venue, Joe's Pub. The show is written and performed by Meredith DiMenna under the musical direction of Jason Binnick.

PSC Founder and Artistic Director Guy Roberts has received the first inaugural Sidney Berger Award from the Shakespeare Theatre Association (STA). The 'Sidney' Award was announced and presented by STA President Jeffrey Watkins on January 25, 2014 at the Stratford Festival in Stratford, Ontario at the annual STA conference. Sidney Berger was the founder of the Houston Shakespeare Festival and longtime Chairman of the Drama Department at the University of Houston.

NBCUniversal Television Consumer Products announced today that Cardinal Industries, a leading board and card game developer, will introduce a card game based on the hit show, “Hollywood Game Night.” Hitting shelves on February 15, the Hollywood Game Night Party Game will be available initially at Walmart stores for an exclusive window and will also be available at the NBC online store (www.nbcuniversalstore.com). “Hollywood Game Night” returns to NBC on February 27 and will air on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The licensing deal was brokered by Joy Tashjian Marketing Group, LLC.

The Metropolitan Opera's 2014-15 season will feature 26 operas, three of them company premieres, in six new productions and 18 revivals showcasing the talents of the world's leading singers, conductors, and theater artists. The three operas that will have their first-ever Met performances, each staged by a director making his Met debut, are John Adams's The Death of Klinghoffer, conducted by David Robertson and directed by Tom Morris, opening October 20; Rossini's La Donna del Lago, conducted by Michele Mariotti and directed by Paul Curran, opening February 16, 2015; and Tchaikovsky's one-act opera Iolanta, conducted by Valery Gergiev and directed by Mariusz Treli?ski. Iolanta will be presented in a double bill with a new staging of Bartok's one-act Duke Bluebeard's Castle, also conducted by Gergiev and directed by Treli?ski.

Actors' Shakespeare Project will present The Cherry Orchard, Anton Chekhov's absurdist comedy of human frailties in an evolving world, tonight, February 12 to March 9, 2014 at The Dane Estate at Pine Manor College, 400 Heath Street, Chestnut Hill, MA.
